      I had some tinnitus from the normal things but last year I had surgery and when I came home I heard a loud hissing sound. I searched the house because I thought we had a gas leak. We didn't, its all in my ears. It comes and goes and it sucks.

      I lived for awhile at North Pole Alaska and Eielson AFB. All I remember is I had a big gas self propelled snowblower that made 11 foot of annual snow a breeze. I wouldn't shovel snow for all the gold in china again.

      Boots

      Check Ebay. I have a pair of Danner Ft Lewis boots issued to me at Eielson AFB Ak. I wore then at -20 and they kept my feet warm. Also look for USMC issue boots I've seen them around $40.
