Knafs Lander 4 Fixed blade - Kickstarter

Never been a fan of their knives but that sheepsfoot in S35VN looks nice, overpriced, but nice.

      Snake ID help please

Went to sweep off porch this morning and found this one. He was already in a "kinking" posture when I found him. A couple of gentle nudges with the broom handle and off he went back to woods. I never mind having Rat snakes around, not agressive and way better to have around than the stuff they eat.

      Best bourbon under $50?

Yes Sir, all swigs are welcome here. Pay no attention to the click bait title too, this thread was started back in the 60s when you could buy a bottle for under $50...................and drink it while you walked uphill both ways to school. Cheers!

      Best bourbon under $50?

I hope that's the first one. Too much ghost and not enough spirit in that bottle.

      Indianapolis Speedrome

One of the many local racing events I miss since moving to Tennessee, along with going to Winchester and stopping by and getting some fresh Wick's pies while there. That little dirt track in Paragon was always a fun place to see some grass roots racing. Had co-workers that raced late models on...

      Apprenticeship/union in NWI? Advice needed

Chicago's local territory dips into NWI and the pay is even better. Any chance you're a veteran? The Helmets to Hardhats Program opens alot of doors very fast in many of the union trades.

      Apprenticeship/union in NWI? Advice needed

Retired union insulator here. I know it isn't one of the trades you've expressed interest in and definitely not trying to sell it to ya, just sharing my experience. 30+ years, never laid off, retired at 55 with monthly pension and half of my health insurance premium paid by my union. A 4 year...

      Let’s talk hard hats

After 34 years of independant research, I've come to the conclusion that all hardhats suck. Traumatic brain injuries suck more, so I threw a double hitch knot in my tampon string and put the damn thing on and thanked God that after 3+ decades of wearing them, I can still stay inside the lines of...

      I need a new lighter

That may just be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard....................and where can I get one?..............for a friend, of coarse.

      I need a new lighter

I see seal floss and copper pipe in this tragedy, so blame the plumber, if that's you, blame it on the electrician ect, ect. Bic lives matter!

Im sick of the yelling & im just done

I can only offer the advise given me when I was in a similar place. Find your peace and go there, rid yourself of the things that makes you miserable, life is precious and way too short. Interpet this however you choose but I truly wish you the best Sir.

      Jake Paul Mike Tyson fight

Yoostoob Tyson training, (at 56 years old) with Rafael Cordura if you think Tyson is too old for this. I've never seen/saw anyone walk Cordura backwards with punches like Iron Mike does in this vid.

      Retirement Thoughts

I'm gonna echo the Roth and max contribution match on 401K. I would also suggest not overlooking real estate for retirement investing. Real estate, whether kept (payed off) or sold (avoiding capitol gains tax) can be a big boost in retirement.

EZ rail tick mount for 92FS

Lots of "wiggle" in the one I have, enough that I removed it. It may work good enough for a light if a shifting beam doesn't bother you. IMHO, junk but YMMV.

      Always Carry Cash..............

Emergency away games are the worst. An unfamiliar playing field with no one cheering for ya and to top it off, the equipment manager didn't get a copy of the revised schedule. A $h!tty situation for sure, but at least you're not one of the Washington quadruplets.
