      Our law enforcement academy is located in Douglas. I used to fish along the Platte River there on the weekends. I really liked that area but a lot of our married guys, who were stuck there for months on end, didn't remember it quite as fondly as I did.

      Sentimental value guns you own or want.

      Around 1950 my Dad bought a Winchester 94 30-30 at a local pawn shop. Between the two of us we killed a bunch of wild pigs with that rifle while I was growing up. I've got the gun and Dad has been gone for a long time. It sure brings back some good memories.

      Have you priced a used Colt Python?

      I carried a 586 as a duty gun. Nice gun; good balance; but NOT a Python. I have always wanted one and I consider their blue finish to be the gold standard.
