9 states now threatening to remove obama from their ballots

Start on page 1, it will probably tell you :D Edit: I see that you made posts on page 1, so ignore my snark.

I am not sure, but I think that part of it is using wave interference to cancel parts of the sound wave. It looks like the steps cause some rebounding of the incoming wave. As long as the sound waves meet when they are each in the proper portion of their phase, they will work to cancel each...

      Surefire

The way I understand the function of the Surefire plugs is that they aren't baffled, in the sense that something like the old Sonic ear valvs were. They have a filter that relies on acoustic energy and the laws of physics to dampen sound. I guess the filter distorts the high energy waves...

Look who is keeping her piece of the pie.

I may be wrong, but I think he was implying that 100 is cheap for two whole lobsters, not expensive. There are places around here that charge 50 for one lobster tail.

9 states now threatening to remove obama from their ballots

:+1: The First Amendment makes it clear that this is NOT a Christian nation. This is a secular nation. The Nation has no business being associated with any religion. The majority of the people in the nation may be Christian, but that doesn't mean that religion should have anything to do with...

      Question about IDPA matches/rules/firearms

The rule explicitly says no porting. The 17c is out. Glocks are very popular in IDPA, you shouldn't be concerned about wearing it out. The competitions I have been to have been 4 stages and a minimum round count of less than 100. 100 a Sunday is hardly noticed by a gun like a Glock.

I have these too. The NRR with them unplugged is 9, plugged is 16. The problem is that the attentuation in hearing protection like this is non-linear. The more intense the noise, the greater the reduction. I think the chart that comes with them shows something like a 36db reduction at 120db. I...

      Daily Routine Interruptus

I pull straight in to my garage. I always check my mirrors on the way in and make sure there is no one there before I kill the ignition. Once the engine is off, I get out and face the door as quickly as possible. My wife takes what seems like 15 minutes to get out of her car when she gets home...

A political poll for the collective mind

If it is conviction of a crime, or abusing their office, then they should be removed. Soliciting men in a bathroom? probably not. Soliciting underaged pages? probably. Accepting bribes? without a doubt.

Why I'm Voting Democrat, and so should you

But hadn't the Republicans controlled both houses of Congress for something like 7 years before 9-11-01? Apparently there were intelligence failings during Clinton's term, but didn't they continue right up until the attack occured? It seems like unfair spin to cast this on one party when it...

A political poll for the collective mind

Poll says convicted, article says accused. I think people should be thrown out upon conviction.

Why I'm Voting Democrat, and so should you

That happened when the Republicans controlled both houses of Congress and held the Presidency. I don't know how this got spun into a Democrat failing.

      Daily Routine Interruptus

"Come on Officer, I am in my own driveway. Why are you going to do this to me? What's the big deal?" Kids do it when the police break up parties in a yard too. A bunch of them will run inside and think they are safe, then get offended when the police come in without asking.

      Obama: The Constitution is "flawed"

Quality really started improving around the turn of the century. New Chevy cars are very well built now. Hopefully perception catches reality before they fold.

      Obama: The Constitution is "flawed"

It's called a hypothetical. People use them when they are easier than actual situations. Regarding your top 1% statement; what was the point in making it if wasn't intended to carry the implication that the top 1% pay too much or the bottom pays too little? Why volunteer that information...

      Obama: The Constitution is "flawed"

I don't know whose lies they are, but that graph is from the Washington Post.

      Obama: The Constitution is "flawed"

Probably depends on how big 1% is. I would move a business for 1% of $10 billion. Not for 1% of $1 million.
