I put a lot of thought in to it, and I think I'll sell it and put the funds towards a G.I. model, I love my springfield M1 Garand that saw action in both WWII and Korean war. I'll let someone else break this M1 in. (hopefully figuratively, not literally!)
Kel-tec has some interesting firearms, I'm not sure this one has the right idea yet, looks far too cumbersome. I'll stick with my 7+1 mossberg 500 for now.
Thanks guys for your input! I'll probably just hang it on a shelf, I don't want to take a chance to see if its a lemon like so many other universals I've heard of.
From what I've gathered this m1 was made around the early '80's, and looking at it I don't think it has any G.I. parts. It has the bolt lock back lever which I guess is a later mod. from the original universal design. I can't figure out how to load pics on to the thread, I have another pic on my...
Hi, recently picked up a universal m1 30 carbine in stainless steel, has SS19XX serial#. it looks to be unfired and in over all really good shape, it came with a stainless 15rnd mag with iver johnson on the bottom plate. I heard that iver johnson had made universals for a short time, is it...
Recently purchased a new "plain jane" 10/22. Definitely felt a little more plasticy than my father-in-laws older one, but I was not let down. I added a vented barrel cover and slip on muzzle break, gives it more of a carbine feel. I did have some issues with butler creeks 25rnd mags, but loads...
i was using the weaver stance for the accuracy part and one hand on the mag well for the fun bullet spraying part. it's a front heavy gun, which helps only on rapid fire i'd guess. do they make a stock for this gun? side or folding? i found a site that has fake suppressors was thinking about...
well ive got it up as my avatar, the guy i bought it from had the weaver rail put on, and i just added the $40 red dot, which despite what ive heard about this guns accuracy, with that red dot i can shoot a 4'' group at 25 feet.
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a intratec tec-dc9 fro a friend who was a little hard up for cash, I did quite a bit of research before I bought it and saw a LOT of mixed reviews on the intratec family of guns. Regardless I bought the gun, took it home, stripped it down, checked and cleaned...
Hi there, I'm. Kyle from the little town of North Liberty. Ex navy plumber, turned union plumber. Started with a. 22 rifle @ 16, really got into guns after I got out in '06. Recent purchase was a intratec tec-9 (don't judge! Haha) the price was right and its fun to shoot, my favorite gun is my...
