      HVAC question about heat pumps, how cold will they work without using the backup electric heater?

      My heat pump just went out AGAIN. The HVAC guy wants $2500 fur a new compressor (he put in a new compressor two years ago) or over $12,500 for a new unit. I’m thinking window AC units, and wood burning heater.

      I watched a video on u-tube of a couple of guys using one who decided to use smokeless powder Instead of black powder. It turned into a BOMB

      Now I know one more reason why they no longer make these. I was using mine yesterday, and instead of splitting the log, it just blasted a ten pound chunk off of the side. It flew 36 feet and smashed onto the side of my house creating a twelve inch gash/crack in the siding. It missed the window...

      About a week ago I found. attached to me, the smallest tick that I have ever seen. She was attached tor less than one hour, but the itchy welt she left was quarter sized and it is driving me crazy. Luckily I have some ”chiggerex” and it is helping
