      I heard that as of February led is no longer allowed to be in brass plumbing fixtures. Its really stupid because brass is one of the safest metals out there. Its corrosion and bacteria resistant and its relatively cheap. So pretty much no more brass fixtures, stock up while you can.

      Are the barrels US made or original? To my understanding the us made barrels aren't as good a quality as the original military barrels.

      The sights were for that far because of the use of volley fire. I'm not even sure if that was a common use for the rifle, but it was set up to be able to do just that.

      Get a Saiga and convert it. They are relatively cheap (or they were) and I believe that the barrels are cold hammer forged and chrome lined.
