      Thanks for the info. I just don't understand the allure of such a short barreled "rifle" or the AR pistol platform. Seems like money wasted on something much less effective just to have something different. To each his own, it's a free country.

      I had a 44mag Blackhawk revolver for a short time. What an ungainly club of a chunk of squarish metal that thing was. Sold it immediately and kept shooting my S&W 629-4...which I do regret selling.
