Funny you mention that, my 5 year old son just got that exact same nerf shotgun this year.
Its been fun to watch him shoot toy slime containers from across the living room.
It is his first nerf gun, and it feels like ill be looking into more soon.
I believe that in 6.7 VMware had pretty much all configurable items available in HTML5 whereas in 6.5 there was still some things that just wouldn't work appropriately in HTML5.

May be worth looking into utilizing a Linux OS distro for the older hardware requirement. At least to keep some sense of security instead of using XP.
I'm mostly a windows admin/user, but have messed around with a few Linux distros on older hardware that I didnt want to just throw away...
