Drilled some holes today in my car

Nice, been wanting to do something similar with my '00 GA GT. I like the velcro idea for being able to switch out different holsters as I carry multiple pistols. That, or using some type of nylon holster capable of fitting multiples. 160k and still gets over 30mpg on the highways. I'm running...

Property Rights vs. Liberty Rights, Who SHOULD win?

Does running a business from your home automatically invalidate your rights as an individual property owner, forcing you to serve people you don't want to? Or allowing people onto your property you don't want? If you ran a business, like a landscaping service, from your house, could you deny...

Property Rights vs. Liberty Rights, Who SHOULD win?

Why would it matter? The property doesn't belong to you. Unless you own it, what authority do you have to say who is welcome and who isn't? (the rest is not directed at you specifically CX1, just general questions about property rights) If I put a sign in my front yard that said no blacks...

      Shooting USA tonight....

Awesome! Been watching the show every week for the past several years. What's your typical turn around time on a slide like that? And could it be done for m&p 45's (I think the slides are a bit wider than the 9/40's)

He Shoots Himself In Leg Buying Milk

If it was an XD/m, how was his grip safety being depressed feeling around for his wallet? (if it was still functional) Open-handed pat-down of the pockets when you're looking for something, carrying or not.

      Springfield 1911-A1 Mil-Spec 45ACP Stainless

In all honesty, there's nothing wrong with the Brazilian made Springers. My dad has one circa 2002ish and only issue he's had was the plunger tube came loose. I replaced it with a Wilson Combat tube, re-staked it, and he hasn't called me about problems with it since. Shoots good, eats everything...

      looking at a new 1911

TRPs are sweet pieces, but too rich for my blood. That SW1911TA was well over my budget for a 1911, but it was worth every dollar.

      Ruger sr9 and IDPA

the mag safety is a steel blocker that will allow the striker to drop, but get hung up before protruding the firing pin hole. so it can damage the striker. the good news, the mag safety is easy to remove (and consequently replace should you want to keep the feature as your carry piece). as with...

      Palmetto State Armory

I got 3 lowers at the $50 labor day sale, and they were nice enough to get me 3 sequentially numbered units for my dad, my older brother, and myself. Setting up an AR for dad's 60th in a few months, so I built his up using the basic lower build kit, and everything looks and feels great. Still...

      Ruger SR1911... When...

Series 70 in the sense it has the extra power firing pin spring and titanium firing pin, but not true 70 in that it has a standard bushing, not the collet bushing. So no goofy firing pin block via the trigger or grip safety. I got to handle a SR1911 at Cabela's one day when I was randomly...
