Drilled some holes today in my car
Nice, been wanting to do something similar with my '00 GA GT. I like the velcro idea for being able to switch out different holsters as I carry multiple pistols. That, or using some type of nylon holster capable of fitting multiples. 160k and still gets over 30mpg on the highways. I'm running...- danimal

Springfield 1911-A1 Mil-Spec 45ACP Stainless
In all honesty, there's nothing wrong with the Brazilian made Springers. My dad has one circa 2002ish and only issue he's had was the plunger tube came loose. I replaced it with a Wilson Combat tube, re-staked it, and he hasn't called me about problems with it since. Shoots good, eats everything... -

Ruger sr9 and IDPA
the mag safety is a steel blocker that will allow the striker to drop, but get hung up before protruding the firing pin hole. so it can damage the striker. the good news, the mag safety is easy to remove (and consequently replace should you want to keep the feature as your carry piece). as with... -
