      I kept saying that as we neared the Obama administration, we would see a rise in gun related news stories. In the last few weeks, I've lost count of the "shootings/gun related incidents/etc".. I tripped across these today alone: Man arrested at airport with 21 guns Man arrested at airport...

      Stupid question, but I went to the 1500 hoping to find some, and got frustrated with the amount of people and lack of any remotely decent deals, so I gave up rather quickly. ( Not a big fan of wading through that many people too look at deals that were a ripoff ) ( prices were through the roof )...

      My Experiences with Open Carry

      There is not. It is specifically laid out that cities cannot make bans on handguns / etc over the states rules... There is no city in Indiana that carrying is prohibited.

      Yup. Really nice thing about this Sub-Compact is that extension. It takes a full mag with that extension on and allows my hand to have a full grip. ( fingers hanging off without it ) So I can choose to go small, or full. Good for a guy like me with bigger hands. I dunno how people carry LCP's...

      Switching my carry gun from... SIG 229R - .40 Cal To.... ( just for the winter ) XD Sub-Compact (16+1) 9mm The price was too good to pass up especially with the deal for 2 free extra magazines. Walked out the door at 479 for the gun, 2 mags, speed loader, holster, and dual mag holder...

      I don't know about you guys, but I'll be attending the Tactical Carbine training in Nappanee, IN when they come in May 09. It's a lot of money, but at this point I figure I'll throw it in the credit card and worry about it later, since it'll be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

      Yeah, I wouldn't mind getting out to shoot. My old roommate and I have been going crazy because we haven't been able to do IDPA for months, since they only seem to do it every once in a while around here... You don't know of any places do you? Indy should have some.
