      smith & wesson 4506 pics

yeah, I'd like to see that holster in use as well. It looks very cool. I am not sure I understand the grips...it looks like the Hogue grips just wraps around the old grips, but then you have a photo of them separately. I thought that I have seen some other grips on the 4506 that look slightly...

      An iron stove

Be careful We have a pretty hi speed unit. Made in sweden by a company called Scan, and it is very cool looking as well as very efficient. It was expensive, but we rolled into the cost of the remodel. We had to jump through some hoops, minimal, but some with our homeowners insurance. Issues...

      How many credit cards?

one ...well, I do have a visa card for emergency, but I use my Amex for everything. It is really fantastic with great fraud prevention and lots of benefits, but it is expensive (high annual fee). THe customer service is also really awesome and you have to pay it off at the end of the month...

      Crimson Trace Lasergrips??

This is probably a question for Crimson Trace, but they have a ton of grips for a ton of guns, but some aren't made. Is there something similar to the S&W 4506 that the CT grip would probably fit?

      Guns to buy before Obama

what all was in the ban I didn't really pay much attention to the ban when it was on (just not much of an enthusiast at the time). But were things like a hi cap magazine--like from HK or Para included? What was the limit for handguns like those?

Costco survival bucket (a new one)

2nd bucket.... so when I was looking around costco.com for survival buckets I found this... Costco - Emergency Food Kit Basic preparation will impact the probability of your family’s survival in an emergency. Delicious and easy to prepare. Each bucket contains 275 servings of Pre-mixed...

      Paper trail?

When I asked about a gun being "wanted", I was not only asking about a stolen gun, but also a gun that had been used in a crime. Obviously this is the smallest of percentages of guns, and perhaps not even worth the mention. Now that I think about it, there would be almost no chance that a...

      L.C.C.C. Gun Show

isn't credit the devil's work I'm in the same boat. I use my Amex card for everything...but it has to be paid off every month. I had some health issues right at the same time I started my own business several years ago. I racked up some debt that took me about 8 years to dig out of that...

      Paper trail?

very interesting... But what happens with a personal seller/buyer situation? I am sure this has been gone over ad nauseum on this board, but I figure I'd through it out again with this new thread. I mean, if I buy a gun from a dealer (or gun show or wherever I have to fill out that paper...

What did everyone get at the 1500??

the last time I was at the Indy 1500 I don't go very often and I hadn't been there in forever, and the last time I was at the Indy 1500 and I had something in mind, found it from the guys at Premier Arms, and was out of there in no time, probably less than an hour. I guess I really didn't...

Preparedness - what do you EDC and Use?

I love that knife I have the same Benchmade, although w/o serrations, and keep it together with a surefire g2 and multiplier in my daily backpack. Day to day though I keep the CRKT Kiss with me as my money clip. I love it, and I think I have had it on my person everyday for about 10 years...

      New from NW Indy

I have been lurking here for a few weeks, and there is a ton of interesting info and great conversations. I am largely a newbie, as I haven't really had anything to do with guns for many years. Life, family, business, restoring old car, etc all have really kept the gun in the safe for too...
