I recently acquired a Streamlight PT1L for EDC carry and I love it--it fits into jeans pockets without thinking about it. I have also seen a PT2L mounted on an AR which makes a lot of sense to me in that the PT2L is extremely lightweight.
I love Streamlight's lifetime warranty as well...
In case of zombie outbreaks, it might be nice to have mags (Pmags) that can take a beating as opposed to mags that can't take feasible combat conditions (such as getting dropped and stepped on or driven over). Ya I know, I am going to get grief over my "feasible combat conditions" comment: all...
I like the look of these CTR stocks, but someone else made an interesting point: a fixed stock has absolutely no chance of failure and thus eliminates any cause of concern on this point. Personally, it seems to me if collapsible stocks were untrustworthy they would have a bad reputation by...
Let me salute you sir. I have an Olight M20S that I got in October and I really like the light. I have to admit that I have had to seek warranty service on this light due to a rattling reflector. About getting warranty service, the way to go about this is to contact Olightusa.com. I...
Not to be controversial, but apart from the advantage of interchangeable ammo between other 9mm guns and a revolver, why mess with a 9mm revolver? There are good 9mm pocket pistols, and there are outstanding full size and compact semi-auto pistols. Why does the world need a revolver in 9mm...
I do not know if they will just push something through. If they are smart, our representatives will consider the fact that Indiana tobacco prices are so low in comparison to Illinois' that IL has signs declaring the illegality of bootlegging cigarettes into IL from IN. This means greater tax...
Your reasoning here is solid; FMJs do penetrate more than HP, but what about the legal side of things? Mightn't shooting through barriers (windshields, etc) create a bit of a problem with the gentlemen in blue who might not see this as self defense? Granted, goal number one in a self defense...
And so it should be. The public should be armed and responsible with those arms if for no better reason (and there are many) than that the police cannot protect everyone and usually their job is reactive (track down and arrest) rather than proactive (protect). Nahantel's pre-conversion...
Thanks! While several people have already answered my question, you also contributed significantly by giving me important details. Thanks to all for educating me.
rlidgard, I agree with you on the CZ. A relative of mine has one, and I have been told they are reliable and well liked by some law enforcement agencies. While a Glock fan myself, I do have to concede that the handle on the CZ is super-comfortable (although being steel framed it is very heavy...
Pardon my ignorance, but what what makes M&P's such good pistols? I have heard that they are good guns, and I do not necessarily doubt it, but is there some outstanding feature or facet about these pistols that I do not know about?
Here a quick thought I would like to throw into this discussion. Since we live in a free-market country (sort of) where we let the market (the aggregate of all sellers and buyers) make the decisions about what tools are in demand, why not look at the people/organizations that have the most...
I bought this upper as part of a factory-build rifle several years ago and am now interested in purchasing a different upper for my rifle.
This upper is a complete Bushmaster A3 (flattop) Upper Assembly. This is the 20” HBAR model with a bayonet lug. It includes the bolt carrier group...
