OK, the LC9 came back from Prescott this morning; repaired stuck firing pin and new mag. Ruger put 50 rounds through it before returning, and I put 50 rounds through it with no problems.
It was gone 12 days total, and I am pleased with the result. It will be my EDC backed up by the LCP.
I just sent my LC9 back to Prescott, AZ. While it was firing rounds, I liked it, then trouble started. When it returns, it will be my EDC backed up by the LCP.
I got mine at Wulff's Gun Shop in Connersville, and with the INGO discount he offers, it was MUCH less than $379.
The problem ammo in the LC9 was UMC. 24 rounds fired successfully and 6 rounds failed to fire. I ran the rest of the box of UMC rounds through my XD9 without any problem.
I purchased the LC9 from Wulff's Gun Shop in Connersville, great timely service and a wonderful price after the INGO discount.
It went to the Brookville range one time. I tried to put 30 rounds through it, but there were 6 misfires, firing pin not striking the primer well. Then each round...
Irahm:
You mistook my comment, or I didn't express myself well. I have the utmost respect for LEOs. Without them, life would be pretty chaotic. My point was that if I am being questioned about a crime, whether I'm involved or not, I'm not saying anything without a lawyer. Since they can lie to...
I noticed two things:
1. Her bio didn't mention the father of the two children.
2. She didn't mention the thesis of her work, the lack of funding for Planned Parenthood in Indiana, until the end of the work. Mentioning the Wal-Mart / gun thing at the beginning leads the reader to believe she's...
My advice for him would be, "why stop at 6?" It wouldn't bother me if he raised the banned age to about 17. Keep in mind that, as a teacher, I get to listen to teenagers all day every day. The quiet adult conversation would be great.
The job of a congressman or a senator is to get re-elected. Of course they're going to give things (including money) away. How else would they get any votes.
I very vividly remember doing the paper work at my draft board in Hamilton County in 1970. I was fortunate; my birthday is December 5; for my lottery, December 4 was number 1; I ended up being 252.
OK, I admit I didn't read all 20 pages of this thread, so if this has already been covered, forgive me. For there to be another draft, Congress would have to pass, and the president sign a bill instituting another draft law. This draft law could include signing up and taking females as well as...
The president doesn't care whether he honks off the gun owners or not; he must appeal to his base. I'm sure he made a gun-control campaign promise somewhere along the line just like he made an "I'll bring the troops home" promise. He has to bring home the troops to stroke his political base...
This is my first post (That was the sound of me patting myself on the back.). I carry an LCP in a Recluse wallet holster in the back pocket. Its very inconspicuous, comfortable when sitting, easy to get to, and profiles just like a wallet would in the back pocket.
