US to tear down Veterans Memorial in California

This is well....sad does not seem to convey my true thoughts. I was stationed at Fort Irwin (NTC) in CA. There are over 40 crosses on the road between the post and the closest town, a silent tribute to all those that have died on it. I am pretty sure that it is considered government property...

INDY/Marion County Need Not Follow 2nd Amendment

TopDog, you are right; I too would like to hear his stance on it. I am curious if it is true, did he try this for some type of political stance? If so, that would (if possible) bring more shame upon it.

I have only sold one and hated doing it...had a .357 desert Eagle my (at the time) wife did not like because she could not handle it. Got rid of the gun and she got rid of me later...But no worries now, my wife is in the Army and loves guns...man I got lucky there!!

      Anyone else into Photography?

I too take a lot of photos it seems. I bought a Nikon D40X and have a 18-55mm lens as well as a AFS 70-300mm lens. I shoot in JPEG, not RAW. Plus I use the auto feature the most on my camera. I wish I knew more about it, but can't seem to grasp it. :dunno: I took a lot of pics this weekend...

      Carry In Tenn Changed

I was in Liberia attempting to train their Army. GOt fed up with them and left, lol. No real big game where I was located, plus no one can own a firearm there. They are still recovering from the 16 year civil war they had. Internet bride huh, lol. Doubt my wife would like that one, plus I...

      Carry In Tenn Changed

Well this is after the fact (nice follow up with the phone call SC_Shooter). Before I left to Africa three months ago I wrecked my car just outside of Nashville. When the State Trooper showed up, I told him I had six guns in the car and needed to unload one of them. He ask me for my LTCH and...

Which military branch is better to join in your opinion ???

Well I spent 20 years in the Army, 11B. My father was in the Army as well, so I knew the "right" questions to ask the recruiter, but even then he did not give me all the information. But that is besides the point, no matter what service one chooses, I applaud them. I can only speak for the...
