      Griffith Blythes

Let me start off by saying I'm not one to get upset or be picky about service. Let alone take the time to start a thread about a business. I have visited and purchased from Blythes before and have found their service to be ok. I'm currently in the market for a new safe since buying a new home...

USA Today reports Indiana lawmaker wants to allow guns on college campuses

It's already legal but against policy. But I understand not allowing public universities make policies against it.

http://youtu.be/iPAKLufeil4 If someone enters my home they will be met with lethal force. I will not give them a chance with the hopes of a less lethal round stopping them.

      Kitchen knives

So my fiancé and I just had our bridal shower yesterday let me just say being the only male surrounded by 80+ women was one hell of a time. Well we received a knife set that I picked out. It was a calphalon knife set. It is the katana series made out of vg-1. Now here is my question at a...

      Carrying in Indiana Casinos

And your proof otherwise? More digging and my understanding that there is a vagueness in the law, and the IAC makes reference of land based casinos.

      Carrying in Indiana Casinos

+1 I'm surprised it took so long. Only RIVERBOAT casinos are a no go when it comes to Indiana law. If the casino is land based then you are good to go, but may be asked to leave if seen. Just another comment to the previous responses; please check your facts before posting that you are...

      Crime of Moral turpitude

Well I contacted the board and they responded, but still didn't receive a definitive answer. Simply that I read the statute correctly, and the hiring agency has discretion. They never answered whether or not reckless driving is indeed a crime including moral turpitude. That is my main question...

      Crime of Moral turpitude

I have seen both, and it looks like the closest thing to reckless driving is aggravated dui. I have sent an email to the board. I plan on calling if I don't receive a response. I just don't see how reckless driving is a crime of moral turpitude unless there were aggravating circumstances.

      Crime of Moral turpitude

(50 ILCS 705/6) (from Ch. 85, par. 506) Sec. 6. Selection and certification of schools. The Board shall select and certify schools within the State of Illinois for the purpose of providing basic training for probationary police officers, probationary county corrections officers, and court...

      Crime of Moral turpitude

I'm being told it's in accordance with the Illinois police training board standards so I assume that encompasses all departments in Illinois.

      Crime of Moral turpitude

I guess I'll put this here and see if I can get a solid answer. I was told that in Illinois that a misdemeanor reckless driving automatically disqualifies you from becoming a police officer. After looking up all the statutes and criminal codes I don't see reckless driving being mentioned...
