      to buy a CW9 or a CM9

I carry a PM9 and my wife carries the CM9. I have carried larger and smaller pistols and for me the PM9/CM9 guns strike the perfect balance. My wife moved from a Ruger LCP to the CM9 and likes it a lot more but it has been considerably harder for her to carry it concealed. She thinks it was a...

      Why a Glock?

I compare them to driving a honda civic, not cool, boringly reliable, no soul. Other hand guns are more like sports cars, beautiful, fast, and high maintenance. I resisted Glock for years but finally gave in, and the trigger is really fast with a short reset.

My mortgage is with Bank of America, need financial advise.

Refinance with a local bank, mine have great rates now and I've been thinking about refinancing also.

      Video from the Noveske crew

Great company, I spoke with John when he was building my 300 whisper upper and he was great to work with. I will certainly continue to shop with noveske rifle works.

There is no hiding this from the wife

Have fun, when I bought my monarch 10ee at auction I spent the next 2 weeks threading every barrel I had, single point threading is so cool.

      My Dad passed away today

I am sorry for your loss. Cherish every minute with your families, I came close to death three months ago today when I was seriously injured at work. It made me very aware of my own mortality.

Long term solution to our .gov problem?

I propose we make attending an Appleseed clinic a requirement for everyone who serves as a lawmaker. During the history portion of the class you hear the stories of real people and what they gave to establish this great country. Let them opt out of the shooting portion if they really must, but...

Brass vs. Steel Cased Ammo – An Epic Torture Test

Excellent article, thanks for sharing. I've shot thousands of rounds of wolf through my m16 and my experiences mirror those found in the article. It works better than most people give it credit for but it is not as good as domestically produced brass cased ammo. For my uses I will continue to...

      Response from Tod Young.

Got the exact same response, word for word. I am not impressed. Sounds like a platform to compromise with, I don't believe there is room for a compromise. The second amendment either stands or it doesn't. "shall not be infringed" Crystal clear to me.

My subsonic 147 load with berrys plated bullets is 3.0 titegroup, I used to load 3.2 but depending on the weather I would get the occasional supersonic crack.

First real time shooting sling up (appleseed style)

I prefer a sling to a bipod, when positioned properly and locked in position it is considerably more stable. But it also took years to get figured out. I do think it's kind of funny how I'm getting into scopes and bipods now and your working on slings and irons, there is always something to learn.

RRA lowers are tight, I'd file the upper to fit.

      Del-Ton AR Problems

Olofson had had M16 fire control parts and selector switch, he also told people the third position was for automatic fire. I don't agree with what was done to him but a bad hook on a semi trigger is a totally different situation.

I have my iPhone in a Lifeproof case and it has survived being under water many times, it won't help this time but you might look into it.

Voluntarily disarming at a gun show

I always carry at gun shows. I have firearms I will be showing/selling zip tied but my carry piece will only come out if it needs to be fired.
