Not kidding, bought her a toaster. Even worse, it showed up to the door not in a box. Thanks Amazon. Might be buying her something else so I have something she can unwrap Christmas morning.
Kind of shocked by that. In my case the attic had settled and the crawlspace had none. Could feel cold air around outlets in exterior walls despite being a newer house. For me biggest thing on the new unit was SEER number.
I was thinking the same thing until I replace my units with new ones that worked and insulated my house. Went from $500+ a month especially in the winter (might of had a couple $800 bills) down to barely breaking $100 a month. It was insane.

Not sure I would call it heavy, a little bit wider than I like. Biggest complaints, a pain to install unless you are doing it during a build and expensive.
Always kept mine in a sealed ammo can. Originally for avoiding moisture and in case they decided to go off. Good point about them being made with the wet paste, so I guess I'll keep them there just for safety reasons.
Yep! "Well there is so little in there you need to draw the plunger back and then do the injection." Except when Pence get the injection, same size syringe and that thing is full.
As others already pointed out, those electric heat setups draw a lot. Trying to power it almost always means a stationary stand-by type generator. Other thing to be aware of is there is usually a surge in watts on startup, where the appliance will need more than what it is rated at. Generators...
I am not all that surprised. A dust mask or similar design filters on inhale. When you exhale the mask is slightly pushed away from your face to vent, that is why your glasses fog if you wear them. That is moist air condensing on the cold surface on the glasses. Granted the larger droplets are...
Grew up with neighbors that were allowed to play with toy guns. Later found my grandpa's old Red Ryder in the attic and begged him to shoot it. Can't remember when I received my own Red Ryder, but it might have been after I turned 13 (ridiculous). Grew up reading Canadian Guide Manuals and other...
Spot on description on how drywall does/doesn't protect firearms from fire inside a safe. I had to design on as part of a final project in heat transfer. One of the most innovated designs used banana peels, not sure if it would rot though.
Unfortunately, when the water in the drywall flashes to...
LOL, I was thinking something along that lines as well.
Good for her, hope she doesn't back down. Need to eventually push for anyone to be able to carry in the capital.
Actually a private pilot, flying in unpressurized planes. I have never dropped below 95% even at 8000-9000 feet. Normally I don't fly that high, but I wanted to see how I reacted to it, similar to doing a deep dive during training to see what nitrogen narcosis is like. At 90% (which is probably...
I don't notice any trouble breathing on flights like a lot of others have stated, BUT....
My Fenix shows my O2 levels at 88 or lower, normally 98 and my resting heart rate is 100+, normally 60 or lower. So it definitely is impacting you even if you cannot tell. I have been on six flights and...
I like that it is used in USPSA and other comps, allows you to get in some shooting under stress in different situations, that can later be used on your real rifles. Sure there are other uses, otherwise soldiers wouldn't use subguns and pdws rather than just a pistol. I don't own one though...
I thought my wife. Took her through the seven fundamentals of marksmanship, drawing, dry firing, reloads, immediate and remedial actions, all the way up to el prez drills. For her belly band seems to work the best. She is not a purse person and I would hate for it to be sitting in the front seat...
I am on the no side with the possibility that if I refuse, I may be fired. I hope it doesn't come to that. It messes with RNA and anything it does planned or unplanned would be permanent. Read one article talking about it working by rewriting your cells to produce a spiked cell wall similar to a...
