The thing I didn't like about Oak & Eden was the flavor keeps changing. Maybe get it where you like it and take out the darn stick?
The French Oak was the best of the one's I've tried though.
Stoked to get hits at 929 yards this weekend!!!
I ran in a team Run-n-Gun match in Cross Timbers Missouri. "Run for your life Zombie Run-n-Gun" is a 10k 2 gun match held at the Lucas Oil Ranch Shooting complex. The MD is know for making things hard on 9mm & .223 shooters. This year was no...
I used the 69gr version of this at my last match.
Sub MOA at 600 yards from a 16" Faxon pencil barrel ( 4x ACOG).
2.3 MOA at 300 yards from a BCM 11.5" fluted barrel ( MRO red dot).

I'm not real sure what to do about this one. It's been around my place a few times (I'm in Marion county, just ~1.5 miles from I465). I'm not wanting my small dogs to get into it with this thing. It looks kind of big to me.
Any suggestions?
I've had dimpled barrel bolt on gas blocks come lose. Taper pinned is the way to go if you truly want a "GTW" rifle.
I have an 18" Faxon with a Warblock & have never had one lick of trouble with it. The barrel still shoots sub MOA (unsupported, sling only) with off the shelf ammo...
Heads up guys!
2 people on a Facebook bourbon group just scored bottles of Old Forester Birthday bourbon for pretty damn close to msrp. One at a Costco, the other at a Meijer near Marion IN iirc.

47k5 might be an OK price. I know a Dr in OK that was willing to pay $52k.
At some point, & maybe we're past this, it'll be cheaper to get an FFL SOT 02 than to pay these prices.
Better yet, get some buddies, create a llc/company and everyone chip in on a few nfa items.

Necro-bump!
I finally have a reason to power on these little radios. A Run-n-Gun event in TN will be using coms & simulating an enemy transmission. If you run the course with a radio & find clues to the enemy frequency, you can listen in and get tips on a course shortcut or bonus cache items...
Quickie gear review...
The Princeton Tec Point MPLS IR Tactical Helmet Light is garbage. It came out of the box with a broken mounting tab. An internet search says this is common. I'll try to return it. Too bad as it seems perfectly bright enough for admin tasks.
I ordered a Streamlight...
Well...
I had an error on a paper form. ATF kicked it back and let me fix it (LEO singoff error).
My two efiled Form 4 had to be WITHDRAWN & RESUBMITTED. ATF would not allow my dealer to fix an RP form error. Waited 6 months & had to resubmit.

I have ONE month to get back into semi-decent shape for a 5K night run-n-gun. I just can't get motivated. If anyone wants to meet up at Ft Ben for an after work "brisk paced" trail walk (jog a bit later), PM me.
I like 45 Colt but I have a matching 6 shooter in 45 Colt.
I think I'd rather have both guns in 44 Mag but didn't see a matching Uberti when I got my set.
Totally terrain & gear dependent.
<15min/mi is perfectly fine on light hilly terrain around here. My 2nd & 3rd mile are usually the quickest.
Running clothes & water bottle @ Ft Ben, I try to get under 11 min / mile.
Fully geared up in Alaska with a 44 Mag, I've gone as slow as ~30 minutes...
