Hmmm... Is that just a repackaged/rebranded Beer Barrel Bourbon, or a different product?Let me try this again... homemade birria and dragons milk.. first time trying the brand. View attachment 241157
From their website, it looks like a new product to me.Hmmm... Is that just a repackaged/rebranded Beer Barrel Bourbon, or a different product?
I thought the BBB was finished in their dragon's milk barrels too. Hence, the dragon logo. Thought that was kinda their thing. From their website, it looks like a new product to me.
The BBB you pictured is a decent drinker with a distinct beer finish. Not my favorite, but I am not a big beer drinker.
It looks like the Origin offering is a straight bourbon, and possibly the source of the barrels used to finish New Holland’s Dragons Milk beer.

I enjoyed it, but only after I threw a couple ice balls in there. Neat, it was... ... it tasted like a hangover in the making.
Right. The Dragon’s Milk Beer is finished in bourbon barrels, and then the Beer Barrel Bourbon is finished in the Barrels used to make Dragons Milk Beer.I thought the BBB was finished in their dragon's milk barrels too. Hence, the dragon logo. Thought that was kinda their thing.
I also don't hate the BBB, but it gives me a headache, just like their beer does.

Tried and enjoyed. French oak is also a big part of the finishing process for Maker’s 46. Makes for easy drinking with a bit more complexity than standard Makers.Oak and eden French oak

Meijer has some exceptional brands right now. The Cumberland Meijer certainly has impressed me and at cheaper costs vs the Liquor Store.
I entered in a few drawings for
VanWinkle 2022, EagleRare Single, another Blantons over at the South Broadripple beer and wine store hope I win!!!!!!!
