With my lottery millions, I will have an HK MP5SD. Oh yes.
Looks like I'm going on vacation to some questionable countries...And to think that it wasn't too long ago, in a country that doesn't have the right of the people to keep and bear arms, an AKM could be bought for a loaf of bread and a chicken!
It was a good deal, they were better deals a few years earlier. The 3k I spent for my SD seems like a good deal now.
I dont believe they care.If I won the lottery, there's a 100% chance I would start buying full-auto guns (as an "alternative investment", of course). I wonder how many I'd be able to acquire before, a.) the feds started to get suspicious of my true intentions for needing so many full-autos, and b.) I started to move the market higher from all of my purchases.
You mean 35 years ago.Full-auto prices are crazy. But given the forever-limited supply, they aren't going to go down. So many guns I wish I'd bought 10 years ago...
You mean 35 years ago.
That they have, I bought for the most part when the cost of the stamp was a big deal.Well, I would've been a little young to buy a gun then. But even in the past 10-15 years, the prices have doubled or more on many of them. I recently bought a transferrable machine gun that the previous owner had for about 20 years. I paid a fairly discounted market price, but I got the feeling that it was still almost all profit for the seller.
We are well past that point. It is definitely cheaper to get an FFL SOT 02 than to get into machine guns anymore.47k5 might be an OK price. I know a Dr in OK that was willing to pay $52k.
At some point, & maybe we're past this, it'll be cheaper to get an FFL SOT 02 than to pay these prices.
Better yet, get some buddies, create a llc/company and everyone chip in on a few nfa items.

Just go to group shoots and tell everyone they can shoot it if they bring their own ammo...Just feeding the stuff these days is expensive.
