      Hook the phone to iTunes and go backwards on software as far as you can. I had a similar issue and that worked for me. I did have to reset the phone to factory default first. Just make sure anything to cant just reload is saved elsewhere or emailed to yourself. Mine is a 4 not 4S. Jumping back...

      I really do not think that dogs can legally gamble.

      Judging by the fact that a dog will eat anything (including its own turds) I'm pretty sure they are always gambling. As to the legality, I am not a lawyer.
