The oldest is a Remington New Model 44 Revolver that was made in 1864. This gun was purchased new by my Great, Great Grandfather while on a trip to the Philadelphia area (circa 1866.) It was last fired by my Grandfather circa 1937. I've enclosed it in a display case and it will never be fired again.
I have a couple 1903s, a 1917 Winchester and 2 1917 Colt revolvers from WWI and a 1911 Colt from 1918. I also have a K98 from 1937 and several 1903A3s and M1 Garands and Carbines from WWII. Oh a Marlin 39A from 1953 too....
Forgot I also have a P38 and a couple Inglis HPs from WWII as well.
Have a German shotgun a 16ga nitro proofed barrel EKS (Emil Kerner & Sohn) my uncle brought back from Germany in WW2 then give to my Dad now it's mine then will be my son's. Seen one other at a gun last weekend. It is the absolute best handling shotgun I've ever used but now is in retirement. Thinking it is dated 1923.
Paladin "Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives./Ronald Reagan" Really hope the upcoming voters think that way.
Mosin Nagant - the barrel is stamped 1933 although the receiver is stamped with Tula hammer indicating pre 1928. Right now it looks to be early 1920's, it is one good shooter.
I have a feeling the Mosin Nagants are ruling this forum post. My (well, my Dad's and I) oldest firearm belonged to my Great Grandpa. It is a .410 breach loading Harrington & Richardson folding backpack model. Dated 1945. Nice little shotgun, i enjoy it
