As promised. Not a true test, just a comparison. In my opinion the 5.56MM is a better suppressor as a dedicated 5.56MM but if I didn't want to spend the extra $650+'ish I would have regrets at all using the 7.62QD on both a AR15/M16 and a 7.62. Heck you could use it on several different guns. I plan on using mine on AR's in both 5.56 and 7.62, AK's in 7.62, bolt guns in 5.56, .308WIN & .300WM and who knows what else down the road.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks to Slowhand for the camera work and whose backup camera was used for the actual test footage since my camera ran out of memory. Thats why I am not looking at the camera during the commentary.

Excellent videos. Suppressed Armament Systems in Evansville builds fantastic .308 and 223 suppressors in stainless and titanium. The trade off on the 308 vs the 223 can is volume inside the suppressor. Do not let anybody tell you to try your 9mm on a 308 etc. or put any type of fluid in a high power suppressor, they cannot handle the pressure. Have transferred a number of them and everyone is very pleased.

Thanks for the videos Cory. How about a .458 socom can on a 45acp? Is there a big difference in size for a .458 socom verses a 45acp can? That would be a nice setup to have too.

Thanks Matt. FYI, the 7.62 in this video was purchased for my 700P in .300WM.

It is at the machinest as we speak. I will post pics when I get it back.

Although it is getting a fresh coat of OD cerakote and some camo first. :)

That would be awesome. The one thing I hate about 300 Win Mag is how damn loud it is to shoot.

Wow. The 7.62 can suppresses the 5.56 much better than I would have thought. Very interesting. A bolt action .308, with a subsonic round would be a bunch of fun.
