First time out with my 91/30.. works great! No sticky bolt or any other issues. Fired off probably 30 rounds today, but was kinda pushed for time. Towards the end we pulled out the 1/2" steel plate and gave it a shot. My girlfriends dad I and were the only 2 shooting, so he had his 91/30 out as well as his Springfield 30-06. These shots are all from my gun, with Chinese lead core rounds. No holes, but some serious dents and dings! :ar15:

My girlfriends dad says he don't like shooting with me anymore because we have to walk so far to set targets back up again. :rockwoot: Next time out we'll have a bigger plate and bolt it onto a log. Speaking of log.. I didn't think to get any pictures of it, but we had a pine log probably 18" diameter that the mosin had zero trouble going through and through, leaving a trail of splinters behind. Talk about some scary power! :D

I'm sure it packs more of a punch out of a 91/30 than a carbine since you're not losing velocity from wasted powder gasses
