Awesome suggestions, I will be sure to look into the entire COD series, and look into sniper elite. L4D looks good, I'm going to avoid the scifi and rpg stuff for now.

Fallout 3 and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion will keep you occupied for AGES if you are into RPGs. They are two of the best games I have played in an extremely long time...and it's easy for me to say that even though they are both very similar on the surface in terms of visuals, controls, game world, but they have outstanding stories and lots of freedom in how you approach the stories, exploration, and progress through the game.

^^This! Make sure you get the Game of the Year Editions, tho. They have all the add ons.
