    Hey guys,

I have several things for sale. All are in excellent condition and numbers matching.

Oh, and my 642 is actually a 637-2. I don't know why I said 642. They are pretty much the same gun except for the fully exposed hammer.

    1. 1905 Carl Gustav M96 Swedish Mauser- Excellent condition with beautiful bore, wonderful 95% finish. No corrosion at all. The action is nice and smooth. Supposedly, the disk makes the rifle a rare Air Force issue from what I've been told. It also comes with an original leather sling.

    2. Pre-64 1963 Winchester 94 .30-30- Beautiful almost perfect finish with a few small spots of real light corrosion on the triggerguard (can hardly tell) and a few small pin pricks of it on the receiver. The wood is gorgeous as is the metal and finish. The action is tight and smooth. The serial # puts it around '62-'63. before the rifles were modified to produce faster. It's pictured. Sling studs and great sling are attached. It will not disappopint. NEVER BEEN REBLUED. The finish reminds me of the beautiful finish on the old S&W model 10 revolvers-- SPF!

    3. Enfield 2A, not 2A1- Great numbers-matching (including stock) Enfield 2A with mirror bore. It still has the original black "stove" painting on the metal and cosmoed stock. It feeds perfectly and the only stock repairs are on the top and bottom corners of the buttstock, which seems to be common with these. There is an Indian army proof on one side and an armory number painted on the other. Just a great example of a rifle that seems to be kind of hard to find.

    4. NIB S&W 637-2 (exposed hammer ver. of 642)- Never fired with original case and documentation. The cylinder has been turned, but looks like it came from the gun store. I'll get pics soon.

    5. S&W model 10 2" snub nose- 1950's revolver, possible Chicago PD issue. Beautiful finish with minimal holster wear. Great condition original grips and a light turn ring. A beautiful example of an old snub nose K-frame in .38 spl. I'll get pics up. Comes with Buchmeier (sp?) old-style holster and padded case.

Possible trade items include glocks, sigs in .357, 9mm. Beretta Px4 in .45

I will ship to dealers and C&R if the gun is C&R eligible. I don't know if the 94 is, but I'll check. Other than that, I'm in Anderson, IN and will do FTF. There is a 2 day no fire return on shipped items. PM me with any questions, comments. Thanks, guys!

Is the Enfield in .303 Brit or .308 Win?

    -J-

ETA: INMIline was courteous enough to forward me the message he got from OP concerning the Enfield. It is originally chambered in 7.62x51 / .308NATO; not a re-chamber from .303 Brit.

Both the 2A and 2A1 are 7.62 NATO rifles.

    From Wikipedia:

The Ishapore 2A was based upon (and is almost identical to) the .303 British calibre SMLE Mk III* rifle, albeit reworked to use the rimless 7.62x51 NATO round. Externally the rifle is very similar to the classic Mk III*, with the exception of the magazine- which is more "square" and usually carries twelve rounds instead of ten, although a number of 2A1s have been noted with 10 round magazines via 5-round stripper clips for convenience. Also more "square" is the front sight assembly/bayonet mounting boss where an older British Pattern 1907 (P'07) sword bayonet can be attached. Ishapore 2A/2A1 rifles are made with improved steel (to handle the increased pressures of the 7.62x51 round), and the extractor is redesigned to cope with the rimless round. From 1965-1975 (when production is believed to have been discontinued), the sights were changed from 2000 m to a more realistic 800 m, plus the rifle re-designated "Rifle 7.62mm 2A1" by the Indian military.

Thanks for the wiki quote, good sir. :) These are enfields originally developed to fire the 7.62 51 Nato round. I have a lot of it in South African battlepacks if the buyer wants to buy it. They are great rifles.

bumping it, baby! (I think it's been long enough). Lots of interest, none have come through with funds yet. I think I've responded to all pms, but I'll doublecheck. :)

Pictures added, please enlarge the ones of the model 10, the smaller versions make the finish look rough. :)

637 and model 10 are sold. The winchester is up on auction, so that leaves the enfield and mauser. Both with which I've had lots of interest, but no takers.

Winchester, model 10, 637 are sold. The mauser has had lots of attention, but no buyers. Make me an offer. I'd take a look at trades also. I'd really like a shotgun. :)
