Maybe we could get Russell or Shawn to take a picture or two of our guns in the extruder or on the sonic welder? That would be cool if you could post something like that.

I'll see what I can do. I just talked to Russel to get an update. They are now looking at 4 to 6 weeks for production to start. They have some electrical issues that they need to work out before they can go into production. Yes, they will try to get it started sooner, but word is now it will be 4 to 6 weeks.

:rockwoot: I'm in a frenzy to get a 22 upper for mine! By the time we get these I might just find one! :D Thanks for the update!

The people who made these, do they also accept custom engraving jobs? I want something on it with a Logo and Sawyer MFG is out of business...

Would it really be engraving since these are polymer? :): That would be pretty cool. If these things are really as nice as the one I fondled at the 1500 I'd buy all Cav Arms Lowers for my AR's! Lighter is better... right?

Lightweight is awesome. I built another PINK Cav Arms AR15 (photos tomorrow?) with an ULTRA LIGHT barrel and flat top. :yesway: Its a sweet handling gun, comes to the shoulder quick and should make a great shooter.

    Finished it up today. :ar15:

4-6 weeks... are you kidding? Main reason I paid up front is because I thought we'd have by the 1500 and now we're talking about May??

Bummer Hickman! I feel for you.
Not trying to make light of your disappointing situation, but one of the reasons I was quick to jump on this buy was that payment was not required up front. Watching other group buys for AR parts, it seems that delays are more common than not.

I paid for mine well over a month ago knowing it would be late may before I had to even think about getting them. When he said march I said April then added a couple more weeks to that.

With demand the way it is, 4-8 months seems to be the going rate among most manufacturers. :dunno:
