    This rifle looks to be commercially rebuilt and refinished. It seems to be mostly Longbranch and Savage parts. Wood is very nice and the metal is good. Bore looks good, I've only put a couple of rounds through it plinking so I can't say how it shoots either way. It is chambered in .303 British. The only real flaw is whoever rebuilt it ground off the original serial number and stamped a new one. They also struck out something on the receiver.

    FYI the stamped out number is what they did when it went through arsonal rebuild sometimes,
    depending on what needed to be rteplaced or if it was changed in configuration
