A Colt mag pattern works fine if you get a real Colt, and use real Colt mags.If you're looking for an argument against it, I have yet to hear from an owner of a Colt mag pattern AR9 that actually functions.

I am new here, but I do not think this is the best place to seek financial or marital advice lol.
Anyway, just buy it. If it doesn't work out, you know where the classifieds are.
Are you looking for something functional, or just something cool?Wife’s into guns carries and has her own AR she has a old bushmaster A2 style. She prefers iron sites from her military time.
Should I wait and see if the H&R has more reviews?
It’s supposed to be a direct copy of the colt.
Or maybe a MP5 clone?
I guess kool I don’t need it for anything. Are you looking for something functional, or just something cool?
If you need someone to talk you out of it...I guess kool I don’t need it for anything.
And old he is, @bgcattyYou have gotten so old that your old show is now another generations new-less old show.
Somebody bought it for $500 bucks back in the 80’s, never opened the box. That’s what you call an investment. At 128K it has something.
I could SWEAR that PSA was looking into doing an H&R 9MM DOE subgun pistol
You know this is what European people think an American table looks like every day.I had an AR9 that I built using glock mags. It ran like a top, unsuppressed and suppressed. Only thing was I hated the blowback action. Same reason I don't have a Sub2K anymore either. Sold the AR9 and bought a roller lock and did a 2 stamp. I made one exception for a blowback 9mm. And it's a absolute hoot to shoot. But good luck finding it around $1K anymore

And a real stock! Get a stamp, cut and thread the barrel.
