Why are gun owners so strange?

A lot of people who are into weapons of any kind aren't that smart. Not to be mean or whatever but just talk to people and you'll be able to figure it out pretty fast. Weapons are cool though so I dont blame em.

I think my family thinks I'm a bit crazy about guns. But I'm single and have no life. Plus, it's a great hobby and shooting and practicing skills is awesome.

And almost everyone I've encountered so far in the gun world has been awesome.

But after reading this thread, I am ALSO reconsidering buying used guns...

Maybe it’s just me but I’ve been around this hobby for 30-40 years and it seems like a large percentage of people are so odd. To me it’s just something I like but a lot of times either trying to buy or sell something it seems like the other person is just really difficult and awkward. If you’re buying or selling something it’s not a national security issue. Maybe I’m too relaxed about it since I grew up with them my whole life but I just have a hard time having a normal conversation sometimes and people making a decision. If I say I’ll be somewhere then that’s what I’m doing. I don’t know maybe I’m just being dramatic. Lol

Hell, gun people are the only ones that seem half way decent.

Of course, a good dog tops them all.
