Well, I suspect fearless leader was annoyed because he is not accustomed to direct challenges to his "messianic aura".... or it could be that she just showed that she has more backbone than does he.

I would go gentle on her. Brazil did the same types of things in the past which we are doing now with disastrous results, particularly in terms of inflation. Also true is that the fallout from us having inflation/devaluation problems will be much wider than when some relatively insignificant country like Brazil has it happen (where it is largely a localized problem). Someone needed to explain this to that moron.

Who does he think he is? He deserves to get lectured for his irresponsible spending from every angle and the fact that even the president of Brazil could see this should be humbling to this narcissist.

I was visibly annoyed listening to this.

Translating a few words at a time is really hard to listen to. Give me a whole sentence, will ya!

Trust me, I hear you guys.

I just think he should have said, "Shut yer pie hole" in Portuguese or something. He just sat there and took it...sad.

While the President gets to get a verbal pimp slappin' for our financial policies, he's actually not involved. That goes to the Fed and the chosen one doesn't have any real power over them.

I don't think any President has as much fiscal power as we think they do. The Fed pretty much controls all that which is spooky as heck since they're a non-Governmental agency that's owned by mostly foreign entities.......or so I've heard.

One socialist president, raised by communist parents being lectured by another about monetary policy?

What could possibly go wrong here....

And the next time BHO lectures the Chinese about the renminbi, well...

"International Relations" is the business of one country screwing another...

They will all speak and act in their own self interest. We do, with the renminbi. And apparently she had a reason (even if for internal grandstanding purposes) to lecture Obama. That's not to say it's right, nor smart. But it IS to say it happens, and if you follow the trail of self interest (or perceived self interest) you will see an explanation every time.

POTUS essentially signs the check. He is directly responsible for every dime spent. The only way he gets around this is by not signing the legislation and sending it back to congress for another vote to override his veto.

The Federal Reserve covers the National shortfall by buying our worthless bonds and Treasury Bill, and Securities, since no one on the open market wants to buy a bond that pays 1% or less.

Now, the Federal Reserve also has been known to print money to buy other foreign soverign debt as well, which I don't agree with.

Is the Federal Reserve bad? Yes. Would the Treasury of the United States be just as bad with the same power? Probably. Maybe worse. Who knows...

Until we have a balanced budget law or amendment, we'll continue to have **** poor fiscal policy.

Do you truly believe that. He (Osama ben Mama) pushes past all the set rules and by-passes those body which are supposed to do the controlling. He gets it done with tax and spend legislation that gets pushed through behind closed doors.
