I have a Scout/Squad that I picked up last fall. I am slow but surely adding the accessories. I have a nylon sling, 6 mags, and all of the cleaning kit except the cleaning rod pouch and the oiler. It is a hungry devil, that is for sure.

I have the loaded walnut/carbon model. I've only had it for two weeks, and haven't had a chance to shoot it, though.

My brother-in-law's po-po department has one...

It's a REAL one, too. But, unfortunately, they took the happy switch off of it.

Mine started as a m1a super match and then I had the details worked on it, the trigger is the prescribed Highpower, bedded, front sight narrowed and tapered,

more accurate than I am and has a manly sound when you pull the trigger

^ Nice setup, what scope is that?
I was looking at the Falcon Menace for mine, installed the cheek rest,
but haven't ordered yet because the irons are soo much fun to shoot with.

It is a Springfield Armory scope. 6 power. Springfield was offering a deal when I bought the rifle. Send a copy of the receipt for buying the gun and I think it was around $129 and receive the new scope and mount. That was a few years ago. I don't know if they have that deal anymore. It is a nice scope.

I will own one as well some day. Just a LOT of money for a rifle, when there are others I want more right now (M1 Garand to name one!).

I was parked next to a guy shooting one at my first appleseed the end of April, and that was quite the experience! A big BOOM thats for sure! :)

I'll take a M14 over any other Rifle. I may be tainted having been issued a M14 while in service. But it never failed me. Over the years I've owned several.
Here's a pic of one of mine kitted with a Troy MCS.
