I think I would really like that Ronin. I have a Range Officer in 9 and I really like it. I'm not sure why I am shooting my M&P instead of it.Most shot....The 1911 I built myself. Used quality parts and it turned out great.
Most carried A Springfield Ronin 1911 in 9mm with the light weight aluminum frame.
Yes you are correct...I'm old
The Ronin is a joy to shoot and carry. I was always a .45 or forget it type but..I think I would really like that Ronin. I have a Range Officer in 9 and I really like it. I'm not sure why I am shooting my M&P instead of it.
Except, that being old also, the red dot on the M&P is the primary reason. I won't put a red dot on a 1911.
I want to get the whole 5" Ronin set. I've got the 45 now. The Ronin 10mm has become elusive. The Ronin is a joy to shoot and carry. I was always a .45 or forget it type but..
I started having shoulder problems and a long session of all steel full size full power. 45s just took the fun out of it. I was in pain at the end. I still own and shoot the 45s but I have become ok with a lighter 1911 in 9mm. I usually shoot a couple mags of .45 then strictly 9 and some .22s. The 9mm Ronin is a great alternative
There was a 10mm for sale at a lgs here. I stopped in and saw it and thought I will go grab lunch and think about it. Decided I should go back and get it and you know the story......She gone. That was the only 10mm Ronin I have seen in a shop.I want to get the whole 5" Ronin set. I've got the 45 now. The Ronin 10mm has become elusive.
Agree. Something about a optic on a 1911 just seems wrong. Like ketchup on a hot dogI think I would really like that Ronin. I have a Range Officer in 9 and I really like it. I'm not sure why I am shooting my M&P instead of it.
