My favorite changes all the time. Currently, my favorite rifle is my MAS 49/56, followed closely by my WZ-48 Polish trainer (single shot .22 that looks like a Mosin 91/30 that is scary accurate). Favorite pistol would either be my SA Loaded 1911 or my Llama "Extra" in 9mm Largo.
I really like my 1911 SA Loaded but I'd have to say my Sendero 22-250 with a 8 x 25 Leopold target dot is my favorite. If I could see the eye of a prairie dog at 400 yds, that's all I need.
As simple as it may sound...My Pre-64 Winchester 30-30(made the same year I was) then my Marlin 1897 Cowboy. Like was mentioned by a fellow INGO'r, just being at the range (Winamac) relaxes me and brings a smile.
My most favorite to shoot? I would have to say my M91/30. Is it accurate? Accurate enough. Is it pretty? Nope. Is it powerful? Yup. Will it work if I need it too? It fought on the Eastern Front...what more could I ask of it. JMHO.
For rifles I would say any one of my AR's, for handguns it would be my Glocks, and for shotguns it would be my Mossy 835, cause that means I am turkey hunting.
My 1976 vintage Ruger Mark I with the heavy barrel. It's a family heirloom, and it's a great shooter.
Although, no matter which guns I take to the range, I always end up shooting my HighPoint 995 the most because it's fun to chew out the center of the target with it.
