A Sheridan, .22 cal. single shot "Knocabout". I was 12-14 years old. I don't remember where I got it and I don't remember what happened to it but I sure had a good time with it while I did. I would kind of like to find another one some day just for memorys sake.
The first was a Colt Trooper .357 with a 4 inch barrel back in 1982. Came from Illinois to Valpariso, Indiana and was introduced to Fetlas (junk store galore) had guns and junk hanging fron the roof to the floor inside and outside, never saw so many weapons in my life, so many choices and so little money. Illinois said you can't have any and Indiana said you can't have enough. Man I love Indiana!!!
High Standard Sentinel - 9 shot swing out cyl double action revolver. Dad let me have it at age 13 I believe. I put many thousand rounds through it roaming the hill of southern Indiana. I hunted rabbit, squirrel, groundhog, and crows with it. Sold it to a friend many years later.
For me, it was a Bersa Thunderer .380. I hated it. Bought a Glock 19 as soon as I could afford it (still have/love/shoot/carry that one). I believe I traded the Bersa in on a .22 rifle at some point.
