I was 20. I couldnt buy until 21, so about 3mo before I turned 21 I put a HK usp .40 on lay-a-way. Got it out the day I turned 21. One of my best purchases I've ever made.

As soon as I was legally able to own one i bought a hi point 9mm because my buddy had one and said it was decent for the money, big mistake I hated that gun! Lessons learned right. Many different types since then, but nowadays it's a Xdm 40 4.5

j stevens single shot .22 shorty. my grandaddys gun. then first one i bought was a ruger p89. love the gun. put bout 600 rounds through it and the only issue ive had with it has been jamming with umc yellow box ammo.
