I always laughed at the "solvent trap kits."
They advertise the solvent trap as a means to "retain your used solvent for later use."
Because, you know, the solvent is the most expensive part of any gun cleaning process.

It doesn't need baffle stacks. The folds of the paper filter behave similarly to acoustic damping tiles. See pic:

Apparently, it only works for small caliber ammunitions. Found this video on YouTube where someone tried to use it on an AK, tore up the filter pretty badly.
