Ha ha, that would be something. A plastic 1911! It then would be that old bakelite type plastic.
Last month, my first gun purchase of 2024 was a second S&W 442, but this one with no lock. So the lock one is used for range practice and dry fire and the slightly used without the lock is for carry. I know this is a good gun as it belonged to the guy who works at the gun shop and he had not shot it much. Here they are:Pocket carry a S&W 442 .38 Special revolver. I had a 642 but traded it in for a 442 because the 442's black frame is better hidden in the pocket where hte silver backstrap of the 642 would show in the pocket opening.
