Having been in a similar situation, maybe it's time to make an attempt at amends. Even if it's just to get the 22, which means so much to you, and will let the fond memories of your Grandfather live on. Good Luck!
+2 The woman who married my grandfather took it all. My grandmothers farm, her china, her silver, all of it. I can't help but wonder if I had been nicer if we might be able to have some family heirlooms to pass on to our children. Extending the olive branch can be nauseating, but you have nothing to loose. The man already has everything.
