Looking for help identifying this. It is a 410 gauge, some sort of belly gun? It does have some markings on the back of gun, can't make them out. Total length is 7". Thanks in advance.

Early Captive Penetrating Bolt (Gun), aka Brain Shot Gun (it appears to me).

I shot lots of cows and hogs with a Marlin slide action .22.
