I have good quality firearms in many places in my home.

Included but not limited to Custom 1911, Kimber 1911, S&W 1911Sc, Sig 228, Glock 19, S&W Mod 66, AR-180, AR-15 and two double barreled shotguns in different parts of the house. These are the ones that are loaded and ready, not the ones in the safe.

Something is hidden within at least a step or two in any part of the house.

    Think I might be paranoid?....LOL

I have a bunch of guns in the house that could all potentially be used. I keep them all loaded except my .22's. If someone breaks in, however, I am going for my Remington 870 12 gauge w/ Wilson Combat tritium ghost ring sights, a 6 shell side saddle (holding 4 OObuck and 2 rifled slugs) and loaded with 7+1 00 Buck. I figure 14 12ga. rounds ought to change some minds.

All of my guns are stored locked or out of reach of childern. This does not mean that some are not quickly accesible. My primary tools for home defense are a Browning HiPower with 124 gr +P GoldDots and a Mag Light.

first you have to get through the moat, then the trip wire, and i dont know about anyone else but all of my guns are at home so it just depends if i want to use the expensive rounds or the cheap ones!
