Lately we've been doing some cooking on cast iron pans. Last Friday night we made steaks on a lodge logic grill pan (type with the ridges) on the stove and was some of the finest steaks we've ever had. Cast Iron only for us from here on out.
Try it over a fire and you may never go back to the stove. I don't mean on the grill over some charcoal but over a honest to goodness campfire.
