I'm doing a bit of restocking since I cleared leavened items out of my pantry on account of Passover. Went to the range with the Rabbi and several others for our annual holocaust memorial shoot.

Increased the water storage with another tank, looking for a 1-2K gallon tank for the roof of my longer out building.

Speaking of water - How do you recommend getting started with saving/storing water?

Something "starter" that I can expand on later, for the most part.

I mean, I've got a ton of bottled water stored, but that won't last forever like proper containers would.

Same here on the bottled water. Easiest way to ration it.
We also have milk crates holding (4) 1 gallon jugs of distilled water for cooking/hygiene.
As stated we are looking into barrels for off run water storage.

You are on a storage only system yes...??

I have found 4 drums for runoff water storage.

Roof water goes to the gardener's projects as we have county water for the house. Like rural utilities, it's low pressure and irregular so we would use the collected water as a backup and the shrubs would just have to go thirsty. 165 gallon tanks catch the rain surge from the small barn and then feed plastic drums. I think one large tank will work better for the large barn.

We have a garden that will be watered this way. Thing is if there is a crisis the barrels will help if treated.

We also have an 18' by 4' deep pool. That will wash a lot of faces.

2-liter soda bottle are incredibly strong, will last a long time, and won't give the water a bad taste. You can also adapt them to the shape of the space you have to store them.

    Could be anywhere
Picked up two 50lb salt blocks for storage. Broke them into random salt rocks with a 20lb sledge and stacked them on the fireplace in the Sauna to help ionize the air while they await more pedestrian uses after the world collapses.

Also, added an 80gal rain water barrel to the garden. It's for convenience really to keep from schlepping hoses there or dragging buckets from the pond that's at least 15' away...the pond is about 1/4 acre 9' deep.

Picked up two more apple trees and a pear to plant tomorrow maybe.
