so true on the water.
in my house we go through a case of bottled water per week.
but we buy 2 per week at the grocery store...
Ordered some stuff for my radio, and put it all in one place.
I used a Condor EMT pouch. It has a pen/paper. Radio charging dock and power supply. 2x4 AA carriers. 12v car adapter. Radio (uv5r) w/extended battery. Stock battery. AA battery. Baofeng external microphone. Stock antenna. Nagoya 771 antenna and Nagoya UT-108 mag mount antenna. The antennas are stored in the right end of the bag, curved into the pocket.
It makes a nice grab and go comms bag and everything is in one place if I need to throw one to a friend.
6- 55 gallon barrels of water, large supply of home canned and dehydrated foods, personal protection items added all the time, medical supplies as we can, and a case of prophylactics{many uses} diesel and gas ,and propane fuels, new rocket stove.

I never would have thought of using a med pouch for a radio, but I really like what you did there. Right now I have a sustain mentioned pouch with everything just thrown into it. I may be switching my setup now.
Been splitting wood like crazy. I'm determined to have twice as much wood this year as last year.
Got several more dead ash trees to take down next weekend with my son.
My goal is X'2 last years as well. I am way past chopping/cutting/splitting. Found good wood for $60.00 a rick.
I think the price of firewood will be relatively low for a good while. So many Ash trees biting the dust. I was doing a thing at the Indpls airport a couple weeks ago and they had a contractor taking down dozens of good sized dead and dying ashes.
Boring beetles????
There is room for a couple more batteries and a few other items as well. It worked out pretty well.I never would have thought of using a med pouch for a radio, but I really like what you did there. I definitely have some areas I am lacking in, but make up for it in other areas.Ram Rod is so well prepped. He thinks everything through to this level.
