Many thanks for that info. Didn't realize the cut checkering came in that early or that the fleur de lis checkering was pressed. Makes sense when looking at it now.IIRC they went cut checkering around 74. Before that was pressed (and thinner style forend).
They did cut checkering, full panel (not skip line) for only a couple yrs (wider forend).
Skipline cut was started maybe '76.
