Paging @LeadeyeNeat! Have one like it, inherited. Never fired it though, not sure what ammo to feed it. Says .38 on it (is that 38 special or 38 acp - I'm confused by this caliber.
If anyone can tell you what to feed this it would be Leadeye.

I have just posted detailed pictures in the long gun section in the thread "Let's see those M1 Battle Rifles" for your viewing.I have never seen a lend lease M1....pictures....please??
You do know they aren't making any more? Now is the best chance you will have...Some day
It was made for the .38 200 round which was replaced by the .38 S&W, basically the same round with a lighter projectile. The Brits called them "party poppers" after they replaced the .455 with these. Considered a bit anemic...Neat! Have one like it, inherited. Never fired it though, not sure what ammo to feed it. Might be time for me to add .38 dies to my setup then.Mongo59 beat me to it. .38 S&W will do. It's supposed to be .380/200, I remember Old Western Scrounger had this in stock a while ago but now can't find it anywhere. I guess it's handloading only if you want the correct loading.
If and when you DO get a M1A. Spend the extra and get a pre-ban. They are worth the extra $$ you will pay. I speak from experience.Springfield M1a with full length barrel and walnut stock. I need one, bad!
I love wasting money with the .45LC...Gave these some love at the Chief Wa-ke-de range this weekend. Sliding target, poppers, flyers, plate racks, two View attachment 301519View attachment 301520Texas stars. All on one stage.
No, but they look cool. I love the western style firearms.I’ve wanted a Mares Leg for years! Have you shot one?
I am extremely enamored with the Colt 1903 pocket hammerless, and I'm disappointed that I haven't managed to find a shooter grade for a non insane price.
The 1903 was right there for such a long period of American and European civilian shooting history, probably more so that the 1911. For a good 40 or 50 years, if someone was getting shot over a bootlegging feud or organized crime racket or for being a high ranking Nazi officer, it was probably done with a 1903. They're the CCW gun from before CCW existed. Bummer that they haven't been reproduced like the 1911.
