What FA Gun would you buy?

Let's say you had an extra $40k laying around and decided to get into the FA game. What gun would you buy and why? Bonus points if you have a good reason to buy a gun that doesn't use up the entire $40k budget.

Anything above $40k would be a Dillon MiniGun
Around $40K would be full auto RPD
Below $40K would be a STEN

An M16 seems like the most practical choice but I'd probably go with a PPSH-41. A mini gun would be fun if someone else was footing the ammo bill, otherwise I'd be broke or it would be unused.
