Can somebody tell me how to stop the "happy pee"? Adora is house trained, but whenever we get home and she is excited to see us, she pees on the floor. It doesn't matter how much we walk her at all. Whenever she wants to be rubbed and one of us plays with her, there is the chance she will leak on the floor. Is this part of training?

Ah the "I'm so happy to see you pee!!!"

Sarah used to do this almost every day.

We started ignoring her when we came home until she had been let outside to do her business, then she was allowed to do her happy to see you home romp. Eliminated it almost entirely, she has a accident about once every six weeks, but it's now just a dribble instead of a bladder dump.

What made it bad with her was the fact that she has the normal big bushy Border Collie tail that we call the "sweeper", it was not a good thing to be standing beside her when she was younger and she did a happy pee.

The joys of on the job training for both pet owner and pet.:D
