I briefly traded for a G-30 in .45acp(you know, only sissies carry anything less) , but it felt like a brick. The G-23 feels like it was made from a mold of my hand.
Me too. 23. had it forever and love it to death. (literally) I will; however, be purchasing a Gen4 17 tomorrow. I was humbled to know that if you can't keep your second round on target quickly your friends laugh at you. I KNOW .40 S&W is the best personal defense round, but if you cannot shoot it well it ain't worth a barack. I can keep #2 clean and quick from a .45, 9mm, .38, and .357mag with no problem. .40 just puts me off on a followup. I'll never sell my 23, maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I LOVE the Gen4's and already have a gen 2 G22.
If i have to shoot someone between the eyes I dont think i will hear them complain it wasnt with a bigger round, hehehe. and if they do, then i will just double tap them and that will be that.
Im not like some police and go through 2 15 round mags at close range and find my attacker only shot in the arm ONCE!!! pitiful
